Articulating Our Mission, Role and Value

About the Course

The focus of this class is mission. Identification and implementation of mission, core values, and philosophy are central to all aspects of successful camp and conference ministry: program, site management, hospitality, marketing, finances and more. Participants will explore and articulate the role of outdoor ministry in individuals, in the church, and in the world. We will do self-examination and organizational introspection and will engage with a wide variety of concepts, ideas and activities.  Participants will complete the course with a new perspective and lens concerning mission, philosophy, vision and values in camp and conference ministry.  This course will be offered at the Life Enrichment Center, the United Methodist center in Fruitland Park, FL.
